AVEDA INVATI SHAMPOO & CONDITIONER Review

I got a couple samples from AVEDA to try this new product out. From their website: "Thicker fuller hair is yours with the power of densiplex an invigorating blend of ayurvedic herbs that helps power invati -use this complete system for best results".


The first thing you will notice is this really awesome smell. I smelled it already unopened! Very nice, very natural smell. I really like it. The Shampoo is awkward fluid- just like water! I found that very weird. The color also is brown and looked kinda like the stuff you color your hair with! But my hair got clean quickly, even though it does not make a lot of foam. The conditioner is not fluid like water but has a nice smooth consistency, like a conditioner should be.

The color is light brown. Strange colors for my taste for sure! In the shower the conditioner felt very nice. After rinsing it really good out, I noticed that my hair is really not in a good shape. The conditioner really did not help to smooth it. I have to use tons of conditioner to make my thick, really dry hair smooth and manageable. But this did not do me a favor. It was a big hassle to comb through it.

I have to say: my hair smelled awesome delicious the whole day and I did not need any anti-frizz or leave in conditioner as usual. But I really don't like to get tears in my eyes when I comb my hair. So, I will most likely not purchase this product, especially since this set cost $110 (Shampoo, Conditioner and Revitalizer).

This product is especially designed to make thin hair thicker so it might have been the wrong product for me in the first place and might still be a good solution for you.
