BEST MAKEUP OF THE YEAR

My favorite Primer is Loreal Magic Perfecting Base. It works great on me and my oily skin is matte for hours and feels super soft like silk. It smoothes fine lines and gives me a perfect base to work on.

My favorite BB cream (although Nivea does not use the term BB cream I consider this tinted Moisturizer as a BB cream!) since many years is the Nivea Tinted Moisturizer. (See my love rant about it here). They have it only in 2 shades but the bronze is exactly my skin tone and melts into my skin. This moisturizer works great on me because I have oily skin and it takes away the shine. I do not recommend this if you have dry skin. It is not available in the US- only in Europe.

If I like to get a bit more coverage I use Loreal Magic Smooth Souffle. This is also great for oily skin as it absorbs any oily residue on your skin and gives you a matte finish. If you buy a darker shade this works also great as a bronzer. Again: I think it is not good for dry skin.

If my forehead and my chin still shine I use some powder from Physicians Formula.
I love to use the Physicians Formula powder to set my make up.

My new favorite concealer is definitely the Fit Me from Maybelline (wich is actually meant to be a foundation!) Before I discovered this I used the Covergirl and Olay Simply Ageless but I think the Fit Me is so much better. It is so smooth and sinks into my skin- it looks very natural and you can build up the coverage. Also it feels super soft and smooth and does not crease under my eyes. The Covergirl and Olay Simply Ageless is a stronger concealer but tends to crease after a couple of hours.

I really love the Profusion Bronzing Pearls. These I use every day. This bronzer has no glimmer or shine and look super natural. It comes with a great brush.

I do not use very often a Highlighter but if I want to for a special occasion I use the Benefit Highlighter Watt´s up!

I love my new Palette from Estee Lauder which has 2 different bronzers and 2 blushes included. I am not using them separately but use a big brush and swipe all over the 4 colors and mix them together- I find this gives me a good definition and my skin looks flawless.

So long you guys- I hope you like my selection! Let me also add that I would never use all these together because I like my makeup to look natural. As I always say: take care of your skin, so you do not have to cover up so much! Skin Care is more important then Make-up!
