derma e Skin Care Review & GIVEAWAY
Today I am reviewing skin care products by derma e for you! derma e is of course a cruelty free brand (find more brands that don´t test on animals) but beyond that it is also entirely gluten free (did you know that a lot people react allergic to gluten not only in their food but also if applied through skin care?) and vegan (no animal by- products used!).
I received the derma e Evenly Radiant Brightening Cleanser, the derma e Exfoliating Scrub, the derma e Firming DMAE Eye Lift and the derma e Overnight Peel. These products were actually recommended and customized specifically to my skin´s needs through the derma evaluation!
You can hop on their site here: http://bit.ly/1POq5dX and do the evaluation yourself- it is super easy- just answer a couple of questions about your skin and you will be getting a list of products that are recommended specifically for your skin´s needs!
Let´s start with the derma e Evenly Radiant Brightening Cleanser. This is a skin-brightening, sulfate-free facial cleanser that helps promote skin clarity and glow. It contains Vitamin C and smells light and fresh and citrusy. It lather´s nicely and get´s my skin super clean: It even removed stubborn eye makeup! Great cleanser!
The derma e Exfoliating Scrub is a scrub that combines Fruit Enzymes and Dead Sea Salt to draw out impurities and smooth away dull surface cells for fresh, radiant skin. I really enjoy the gritty feel of this scrub. Especially in the morning this fruity smelling scrub makes me feel refreshed and I feel deep cleansed afterwards. I love to use this scrub also before I use a face mask.
The derma e Firming DMAE Eye Lift is lifting, firming and tightening the delicate eye area while smoothing crow’s feet. DMAE is a skin-firming nutrient that is proven to boost collagen for firmer skin.
This eye cream also contains Goji Berry; Peptides and Matrixyl (biggest competition for Retinol!) as well as plumping Hyaluronic Acid. This is just what my dry eyes needed! I love to pat this on all around my eyes- it is not greasy feeling yet deeply moisturizing and I get the feeling of plumper eyes. Great eye cream for us ladies that start to see fine lines and wrinkles around the eyes!
The derma e Overnight Peel is a skin-brightening lotion that contains 5 % AHA (Alpha Hydroxy Acids) for a safe, effective removal of dead surface skin cells. It promises to make your skin tone more radiant and to even out pigmentation and age spots.
If you are new to peels and what they do: they are basically the chemical version of an exfoliater- instead of scrubbing the solution will help speed up the skin cell turnover. I am not new to chemical peels but this overnight peel is a much gentler version of the usual peel that you have to wash off after a couple minutes. It is also so much easier to apply evenly onto your face because it comes in a lotion (instead of a runny watery solution).
Finally a peel even for those with sensitive skin! You won´t get a crazy skin peeling after this- it is working only on the very top layers and reveal better fresher skin underneath the longer you use it. Also: this peel is so gently that you can use it every night!
Great super gentle peel for sensitive skin!
