Sleek MakeUP Solstice Highlighting Palette & more

I have another review of Sleek MakeUP for you (here is the other review) and today it
get´s shimmery and glittery! Yes, Sleek MakeUP is of course a cruelty free brand (find more brands that don´t do animal testing here).

I adore the elegant (and yes: sleek) packaging! This proofs affordable makeup does not have to look like it. Isn´t it so much more fun, if the packaging really speaks to you?

Let´s start right away with my favorite item: the Solstice Highlighter Palette! The golden case is so pretty!!! A stunning gold compact with included mirror and a mini brush! Super gorgeous packaging but you have to be careful to not let those fingers get their prints on! ;-)

But wait, if you open it up it get´s even prettier! 

4 stunning highlighting colors! 1 is a cream highlighter and 2 are baked powders and another one is a silky shimmer powder. All 4 of them apply super smooth and give a healthy radiant glow and a luminous sheen to my skin. I recently used it in one of my makeup tutorials!

Even though they appear very shimmery when swatched, it all comes together when only lightly dabbing onto your skin! I especially love the orange baked highlighter called "Equinox". IN LOVE WITH THIS PALETTE! Only $14.99? WOW! GO RUN AND GET IT! ;-)

5 Schmusies!

The i-Lust Palette is a brand new item by Sleek MakeUP. It contains 4 silky shimmery eye colors and 2 cream eye shadows (the 3rd and 6th color are the cream colors).

The purple color on the left (Laurent) includes a little glitter and applies a bit blotchy and I found it hard to blend. Also: I was hoping for a more pigmented purple but it is more of a muddy purple. 

The terracotta color (Coco), the gold color (Vera) and the champagne color (Vivienne) are gorgeous and beautifully pigmented! The 2 cream colors (Margiela: a bronze and Louis: a champagne) swatch really nice but I have so oily eye lids that it is impossible for me to wear cream eye shadows as they always crease within minutes. $11.49

4 Schmusies if you are OK with 2 cream eyeshadows!

The Barekissed Illuminator in "Casablanca" is a liquid pinkish highlighter. It feels like a lotion and is easy to apply - but: the dispenser always gets too much product out. 

You really need only a tiny bit to  get some glow going- no extra blush needed. This Illuminator is really very shimmery. The problem is that I usually do not apply my blush on the same area as I do my highlighter but with this one, you kinda have to put it all over your cheeks, so I ended up looking a bit too pink in my opinion. 

Or you have to only dab in onto your cheekbones and use a blush that fit´s perfectly to it (same pinkish color). $13.49

3.5 Schmusies!

The Glitter Me Lipgloss is another brand new item by Sleek MakeUP. It is a light golden lip gloss. I like that it is not sticky at all and that it has no taste but it does not have a big color payout so it is better for ladies that like a natural look, or to put on top of a lipstick for some glitter. $7.49
