Kiehl´s APOTHECARY PREPARATIONS CUSTOMIZED SKINCARE #KiehlsGetsPersonal

I had last week the pleasure of getting personally introduced to the new Kiehl´s Apothecary Preparations customized skincare (in their store in the Lenox Square in Atlanta) and I received my own personalized facial skincare serum- adjusted to exactly my skin´s needs! I feel like I have tried literally every skin care brand out there- but I am totally new to Kiehl´s!

So, how do they create the customized serum?

A skin expert at Kiehl’s store locations diagnoses your unique skin concerns. He will show you pictures (from that brown book, the "Kiehl´s bible" ;-) where you have to pick, which image looks the most like your skin. It starts with "Lines and Wrinkles"- the expert will show you 4 images of women and you will choose which one has a similar "wrinkle situation" as you do.

Then follows the same procedure with your "Skin tone", "Texture", "Pores" and "Visible Redness".

I picked the 3rd image for "Lines and Wrinkles", "Skin tone" and for "Texture". (the first image shown in the book is basically always the best skin condition and the 4th image is the worst available  skin condition).

You have to decide which 2 skin concerns are your biggest issues, and I found "Lines & Wrinkles" and "Texture" are my worst enemies! ;-)

The skin strengthening concentrate is always the same- no matter which skin concern you have, but you will get 2 tubes to blend into the concentrate, that are customized to your needs. You will mix both tubes at home into the concentrate, so the serum is super fresh!

The serum feels wonderful soft and hydrating!

I asked Arthur, if I would look 10 years younger when I use the serum and he said: "Yes!" ;-)

And then Arthur packed me a nice goodie bag full of Kiehl´s "secrets"!

And here is my own Kiehl´s personalized facial concentrate- the 2 tubes I had to squeeze in the glass dropper. (1 tube contained the wrinkle reducing complex with Retinol and the other the texture refining complex with Vitamin F and LHA). The serum is btw oil-based and for my oily skin, I don´t even need a separate moisturizer on top of it. Oh and it also smells wonderful! Very relaxing like freshly picked herbs! ;-)
