Benefit They´re Real Dupe?

Is the Maybelline Define-A-Lash a dupe for Benefit They´re Real?

I was really impressed with the Benefit They´re Real Mascara but I needed a waterproof mascara cause I go swimming a lot. So when I saw the Maybelline Define-A-Lash I thought that the wand look astounding similar to the Benefit They´re Real (please know that I bought the Mascara before I went cruelty free! Maybelline and Benefit both are Animal Testers and I am not gonna repurchase either one!)

But when I applied the Maybelline Define-A-Lash Mascara I noticed right away something very strange: the wand is wriggling totally weird! I have never used such a weird Mascara that wriggles completely. I felt applying was feeling uncomfortable and I hit a couple times skin with the mascara. However: the mascara really made my lashes very long!

Overall though the Benefit They´re real is still the winner. Even though the Maybelline somehow gives me longer lashes- they are so undefined and more sticking together. With the Benefit I get more defined and blacker and thicker lashes- not only length but also volume.

Oh well- I thought if the wand looks so similar I might have found something here- but no! Not a dupe- sorry for that! ;-)
