No7 Laboratories LINE CORRECTING Booster Serum Review

I have tried the No7 Laboratories LINE CORRECTING Booster Serum for 7 weeks and I took some before/after pictures (of my wrinkles) to see, if I made any progress! The No7 Laboratories LINE CORRECTING Booster Serum is clinically proven to reduce the appearance of wrinkles by up to 5 years in 12 weeks! Women even said it reduced the appearance of their deepest, most stubborn lines and wrinkles. The No7 Laboratories Line Correcting Booster Serum, originally launched in the U.K. in April, reportedly with a waitlist 17,000 names long!!!

You can imagine that I was very exited to try this magic serum!

So, what is the magic inside? The key ingredient in the serum is a proprietary blend of fine-line-smoothing peptide technology, called Matrixyl 3000 PlusTM 4, which works to boost skin's production of elastic fibrillin. Elastic fibrillin is a polymer that wanes as you get older and can result in visible signs of aging. Apparently this contains  7x concentration = 7 x more Matrixyl 3000 Plus™ than other clinically proven serums. Sounds good?

The serum has been designed to be applied directly to lines and wrinkles to deliver fast, visible results where you want them most. But after trying out the fancy looking tube, I found the applicator rather gimmicky than actual useful. I think it is best to squeeze some product on the tip of your fingers and then right on the wrinkles, as you will definitely have too much product coming out the tube, if squeezed right onto your wrinkles. And my wrinkles are also not as thick as the applicators opening! Well, thank god for that! ;-)

The serum is a thin white lotion and I find that my skin feels afterwards always a bit sticky. I do have an oily t-zone- so maybe if you have dry skin this sinks in better- I don´t know. I find that makeup application on top of it can be tricky, since my skin never really drinks the serum up. It can create strange patches, if I applied a little too much of the serum.

But let´s get to the point: did this serum help me to look 5 years younger?

Because pictures speak louder than words, here are my before pics. I took an (ugly) up-close of my crows feet as well of my forehead wrinkles. I warn you: these are some scary pics lol! ;-)

Problem is: I don´t see any progress at all! Do you?

I am sorry, I don´t see the slightest difference...

Interesting that the study has been done on 98 women over 8 weeks, but No7 is claiming that this serum is clinically proben to reduce the appearance of wrinkles by up to 5 years in 12 weeks. Where do the 12 weeks come from? The study was only 8 weeks long?

Anyway, I tried this serum only for 7 weeks- but I don´t think that the 8th week will change anything and I have put this serum very generous on my forehead lines and on my crowsfeet- every single morning and night in the last 7 weeks. I think you can say that I gave it a fair trial.

But I am sad to say that: no, I don´t see that this is actually helping to get rid of wrinkles. The search for the fountain of youth shall continue! Let me know if you happen to stumble on it! ;-)
