Holi Festival Atlanta 2019 & how to prepare yourself!

Have you ever been on a Holi festival? If not, you should! I had the best time at the Holi Festival in Atlanta! What an amazing experience: Holi is one of the oldest Indian festivals (also called "festival of colors", "festival of love" or "festival of spring") that celebrates the arrival of spring, the end of winter, the blossoming of love, and it´s for many a festive day to meet others, play and laugh, forget and forgive, and repair broken relationships!

And the biggest fun is to wish each other a "Happy Holi" while painting or throwing powder-colors at each other!

How to prepare for this event?

My friends have attended Holi festivals before and were pros in giving me tips on how to prepare for a Holi festival!

• Wear clean clothes under the clothes that will get dirty- that way when you are done partying, you can just take off the top layer of clothes to reveal clean clothes (to keep your car clean)!

• Get a waterproof case to keep your phone safe! I bought this one for under $10 and it worked great!
