I have today 3 colors that are ideal to wear with gold accessories for you! When I was in my 20s I used to wear only silver jewelry, but I quickly discovered my love for gold jewelry and basically switched almost all of my necklaces, bracelets, rings and earrings to gold jewelry! Not only do I like the look of gold jewelry, it has never given me a rash as I have developed a nickel allergy. ;-)
I find gold so sophisticated, elegant but also so timeless. To add gold jewelry or accessories is a simple trick to amp up any outfit.
So, put on those 14 k gold earrings and feel like a million bucks!
1. Black
I think everybody needs a little black dress- or even better: multiple ones! Black works always, from day to night. Always chic and always appropriate- but paired with gold accessories it will look even better! And the best thing: a black dress takes easily off a couple of pounds and make you feel light like a feather! ;-)
If you like to spruce it up a little, wear the little black dress with strappy heels that brings out the inner rock-queen or even a little black bracelet with studs!
2. Pink
Don't be scared to pair a pink outfit with gold details! It will make the pink stand out and make it look in a snap more chic! Because, let’s admit it: a pink can look cheap, if worn with the wrong accessories! Don’t add any more pink to a pink dress. ;-) Pink and gold are a fantastic pair for sure. I also think that golden sandals paired with a pink outfit are a fabulous choice!
3. White
A sophisticated white outfit (a dress but also a suit!) goes always with gold accessories and I find to pair a white dress with gold sandals is a fabulous idea. Gold and white look like they are made for each other! I paired this dress here with pearls- but a gold necklace or bracelet would also work perfect!
So, there you have my 3 colors I like to wear with gold accessories: black, pink and white!
Which one is your favorite color to wear with gold?
